Easter Sunday

Two posts in one day. Excessive I know! It's like scrapbooking...I can't narrow pictures down very well...
Opening the Easter baskets! Yes, Avery took her jammies off. Avery saw her big gift (a nasty mineral oil filled lipgloss/nail polish set) and said "Hey we have this in your closet at home. The Easter bunny got us another one!" I guess he is losing his sneakiness. Her basket was full of bows, pens, pencils, stamps, and a notebook. Boys are so much harder to shop for. He loved the lightening mcqueen remote control car...but books about recycling and saving the earth...well the Easter bunny is also lacking time and creativity these days!
Our Easter photo...minus 1. I was a little bummed Wes couldn't come but his white count continues to drop(to .4). I'm really hoping tomorrow it will have gone up. He is feeling the side effects from the antibiotics as well. I suggested removal of toes...he is weighing the pro's and con's...At my parents church, we saw Presley!! They were being so cute but by the time I grabbed my camera, Pres had had enough! Avery often asks when we will start watching her again! Peeling the amazingly dyed eggs! Nice lunch. Off to go home!
Showing daddy what all we got!!

Little Bunny Foo Foo!

Friday night, the kids decorated sugar cookie eggs. We went to an Easter egg hunt Sat. morning at a nursing home. Really great idea. Residents love watching little kids! When it was over, we went around telling them Happy Easter and Zane pretended like he was frog! Avery hugged this Easter bunny! Yay...progress! Disney World, here we come! Grandma Delmont...
and Grandma and Grandpa Bean came!
After lunch, it was egg hunt #2 time!
They ended up with a lot of candy...
Now time for coloring the eggs!
I think the eggs this year turned out great. Those dye filled q-tips sure did wonders.

We ended with game night...like always..."Bananas"- great game for scrapbook lovers that don't feel like playing for 2+ hours.
Now for Zanes new Easter song he learned! I'm guessing from sonshine school because i've never sang it!

Oh Thursdays...you come by so much faster now.

Poor Zane. When will he ever fit into his 18 month old pants! Doesn't he know these kinda pants are cheaper than adjustable waste jeans!
I feel somewhat bad for people who see my blog title and believe it. I'm sure I've completely let you down.

Why have I never known about http://ouranonymoustruths.blogspot.com/ ?? Very interesting...and I actually mean interesting this time.

We saw the Easter Bunny this year and it was the first time Avery didn't cry. She was still, however, the furthest away. Baby Steps. They are with their cousin Austen.
I really want to paint but Wes won't let me keep buying canvas! So feel free to bring me a canvas and I'll paint it! Can't promise you'll like it...but i'll give it to ya!

So I officially cannot breath inside my largest pair of jeans. The pair I used to pull off even while buttoned. So all you runners...send some of your running juice over to me. Or I'll take a wii fit!

It's so exciting having days where the swingset and sandbox babysit my children for a while! It makes me feel better about blogging or just sitting and doing nothing (while looking through the window of course).

I hate leaves. It makes this whole having a fish pond very difficult and a big chore.

Gena, never let Avery see those hamsters! Or tell her they bite!

Not important- don't read!

So I ran out of my brownie batter icecream and went to two Braums with no success. I decided to try brownie fudge sundae and cake batter. Cake batter is terrible. The other one is only good when I pick out all of the brownies and eat them! I wonder if there is an 800# on the tubs. I'll let them know cake batter is a no go and brownie batter should come back instead. Or is a higher being trying to get me to stop freakin eating so much icecream!?

Why is getting a background on your blog so hard? I tried and it didn't work. Now I have the ugliest blog in the world and it's very sad.

Arg.

Yesterday evening I started feeling well enough to hang out with my old college roomie who was in town! I was pretty much out of it and floating in space the whole time but it was nice seeing her and her family!Align CenterWe met up for breakfast this morning too!
We then said goodbye and went to get Wes's blood checked real fast to make sure we were still able to go on our retreat!! We just found out his white count is .6 (the lowest it has ever been) and he isn't allowed to leave the house. I'm now depressed. I wanted to go so bad. We needed it...a peaceful break to ourselves. He feels better than I do right now. Maybe the blood test was wrong? His blood was 6. something just two days ago. I'm wondering if it is because he forgot to take his monavie and mannatech since coming back from the hospital (I wonder if that is why I got sick too...first time i've been without it in a while). I told him we should check his blood again at 5 this evening but i'm afraid it won't happen. I feel like I should continue going on and on just to torture you. Unfortunately i'm running out of things to say and just want to curl up and watch TV for the next 2-3 hours (kids nap time).

Ode To Random Thoughts

Some of this may be Venting Thursday I'm afraid...

Lets start with Tuesday night. I was able to bring Wes home which was exciting but as soon as we laid on the bed for family time at 7:30 or 8:00pm I noticed I had a little sore throat. Didn't get much sleep and went through an entire bag of halls cough drops that night. I probably have 10 cavaties now. Wednesday, still had the sore throat and it progressed to huge migraine and nausea. Long story short. I feel like poo.

I'm also frustrated that I cannot figure out how to change the blogger time to actual reality time. It just bugs me. If anyone knows how to fix that, please share.

Brownie Batter icecream from Braums is a request straight out of my diary. I'm unsure how I will function without it. Being that it a seasonal flavor, I'm afraid my dreaded time is coming when I will no longer be able to eat it.

I really want to be amish for a month. I hate how so many things consume my life. I'd like for my family to just work on a farm and do nothing but play games all day and shovel poo.

I'm secretly jealous of blogs who get over 5 comments every single post. I wish I could be as cool as them.

Is it normal for a girl to only have five pairs of shoes and none with skinny heels (which cause ankles to roll all over the place)...and the most worn pair are houseshoes. I think i've let myself go.

Poor Henry will be outside all day i'm afraid. I just have no energy for him right now.

I have a redbox movie (Bolt) that i've now had for three days. Anyone want to return it for me!?

I'm typing this with my eyes half shut. I think I will try to fall asleep now.

Yay for boys!

Poor Zane is usually surrounded by 3-5 year old girls!! I can't believe how hot it was Monday afternoon. I had to put sunscreen on them and we had to come in and cool off a couple times! Zane loves his little doggy! Mr. Henry has turned out to be a nice addition to our family. He had quite a few really good swings Gena!
