Twas the evening before Easter...

I'm pretty sure we've never taken our kids bowling before and I was ready to wow them with my amazing bowling skills... I love that Brittany has such small feet (size 5) that her shoes only came in velcro!!

Easter is a big deal people.

The kids were very bummed to find out we accidentally left them out all night and thus were unable to eat them Sunday afternoon!! Had fun decorating none the less...

Finished a little more...

I finished one corner! I'd really like to paint a swinging monkey on the opposite corner where the gymnastics bar is...but I'm thinking that won't happen...
I'd like to get a bigger TV for the wall also, that little TV just doesn't cut it.

This is what the room looked like before... Zane has been keeping busy while I paint by playing outside in the mud or pulling out toys that never get played with like bendaroos...
I tend to like eyeballs that are bigger than the yellow balls.

Both over-sized items are out, tile is laid, new door is installed, paint is up...we just need drywall/texture in a small area and curtains!!

Back to Crafting!!

If feels so good to dust off the sewing machine and complete some projects!! It's a busy playroom so I figured busy curtains would fit.

My sister came over and helped make dirty whitish peeish looking cushions into black wipeable cushions! Paint, marker, playdough, no worries!

My mom painted the sunroom last weekend and I painted this armoire. It needs a little touching up in some areas but it's coming along! This is where all things arts and kid's crafts will be held.

I didn't make these curtains, but I picked them out and actually like them! This would be a first!! You have no idea how much picking out curtains makes me nauseous. I was forced to make a quick decision when I came out of the shower one day, turned around, and saw giggling faces staring at me from the living room windows...

You may have noticed all three rooms are blue. I apparently like blue. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of these rooms completed sometime in the next three months...

True Love

Somehow he sounded her name out and came up with two different spellings within 2 minutes, but my favorite is when he came to me and said "What's our phone number because I want her to be able to call me!!"It looks like we need to work on 3's 5's and 2's! I love how he was so proud and excited to give this to her. So sweet!!

Spring Break- Girls Night!!

I've been really slow at blogging lately...Probably because I do crazy things like spending 10 hours yesterday researching SoonerCare policies, procedures, and why several 2010 claims denied. I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed but I was able to get 7 paid for!! I'm thinking I deserve half of that recovery!!

Anyway, March 19, we made our way to Tulsa for a girls weekend (plus Zane). My mom and her sister/s and daughters get together every year to hang out. This year we met at the Embassy Suites...Here are the cousins...minus Jennifer...

We went and ate at the cheesecake factory and then walked to the mall. Avery got a little makeover at Sephora and she loved it!!

After all that shopping it was time for our annual toast. I HATE wine, champagne, and beer...it all has that nasty malty gross taste. However, whatever this was, it was actually somewhat drinkable...

Spring Break- Philbrook Museum

So I guess we didn't take any pictures of the inside of the museum, but here we are getting ready to leave!! Avery is helping Mason walk!!

Avery packs herself, so the matching thing was a coincidence, but I love it. Made for a great Spring picture!! Well, minus the homemade haircut by Edward Scissor Hands. Blog or go get his haircut by a professional...it's obvious which one I choose... :)
