Happy Fake Bday Avery and Zane!!!

We had a combined birthday party this year at Star Gymnastics. I was only going to spend that much money on one birthday party! This gym has a big bounce house so I figured it would be like having a party at gymnastics and bouncin craze in one!!
Friday night I went to the gym to go over last minute details and let them know how I wanted it set up. It. Was. Hot. The air conditioner had broke but they said it should be ok during the morning time. Wrong! They felt so bad about it being miserably hot that they said not to pay for the party. Woohoo! I still gave them some because I felt bad for the 3 people who helped out, but I was very pleased they offered. All in all it was great. I just might do it here again next year in their new big building that is being built right next door and will open up in a month!
Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate!!

Our little Superhero turned 4 on June 5th. We went out to eat and sang happy birthday to him on his actual birthday so when we had his party yesterday, he thought he was turning 5 saying "I already turned 4 so now I'm turning 5!" Zane's party started in the gym while Avery's started with cake. They are watching the big bounce castle get blown up!
Enjoying different fun gymnastics toys...The kids were ready for a drink before Avery's party was done, so we lined them up here and gave them their sprite! Then they got to eat the yummy superhero cake pops. Super Why, Word Girl, Spiderman, Superman, and Batman!! and ice cream...
It is crazy how this...Became this...
For his party, I made several imperfect super hero masks and handed out super hero water guns and super hero magical pop rocks!! Back at home he enjoys his gifts...shooting a flaming fire ball or something...
and punching spiderman...
He opened every gift and played for hours melting down when we told him it was naptime...so we let him win and said he could watch Shrek instead...5 mins later....

Our Fancy little Avery who will actually not turn 6 until July 29th
Her party started by singing and blowing out candles...Then they decorated cupcakes all fancy with jelly belly's, skittles, sprinkles, and strips of colored twizzlers. Whole twizzlers made for some fancy straws!!
Then she opened gifts...
and went to play in the gym... They ended up swapping those little rubberband bracelets of course...
Ashley made a yummy fancy jello poke cake for the adults. I'm typically not a fan of birthday cake but this kind is so yummy!!!
For the fancy friends, I made a flower pin (on Avery's hat) and gave them bracelets and a lipgloss ring. Her amazing stash and perfectly clean room...
quickly turned to this...(and I think she changed clothes 3 times!)
I got to see my little nephew again!
Wes passed out after the party...
So did Henry, but he woke up when he heard me turn the camera on!Great day but glad it is over!!!

Kidz Kamp Wk. 2

OCEAN THEME
My kids, myself, and half of the other Kidz Kampers were at swim lessons today (a make-up from The Great Flood of Monday) My sister did this week by herself so there aren't pictures of the outdoor activity or the lovely song and books they read. But they learned all sorts of fun facts about different creatures in the ocean along with their names (squid, tuna fish, shrimp, octopus, crab, lobster, and many more!!)For snack they had a jello ocean with Swedish fish inside. I had a feeling the fish would get soggy inside the jello and I was right. The kid's were not a fan of soggy gummy Swedish fish!! But the jello was yummy...
We made it back in time for the BINGO game!
The first BINGO winner!! I probably should have got one of her smiling so I could prove the kids had fun...but I just snapped without thinking. They did love the game though and wanted to play like 8 rounds!
Here are the art projects drying...They are octopus key chains if you cannot tell!
They fished for the answers to different math problems! If you choose to copy this game, make the strings a little shorter and it will make it easier for the impatient ones!!
Another Great Week!! We will take a week off for MRCC's VBS!!

Dynamo Gym Playzone Playdate

Every other Thursday our church has a little playgroup that meets. I have never been to this place, so I was excited to see what it was like. I was impressed with the set up but not so much impressed by the lack of air conditioning...They had a little zip line and bouncy place at the back...
3 stories tall...
There is a ball pit and several other little fun things to do here and it's all completely enclosed with only one way in and out. If it weren't so hot, the kids would have loved it a lot more!!

We then went to McD's...
Apparently these two rug-rats kept asking the worker behind them for chicken nuggets (I'm mean and cheap and made everyone get cheeseburgers and waters with no happy meal!) because when I went to check on them, they had a box and were eating them...

When I checked on them again towards the end, they all had little bags of animal cracker type cookies!! I'm not sure if the worker was just really nice or if she was trying to get the kids to shut up and leave her alone!?!?

Paradise...

MOMMY VACATION!!!!
12 kids between us
Shuttle ride from the airport to our hotel!!! I look so sexy with my glasses slipping down my nose I must say...
The place we stayed at was perfect. Thank you SOOOO much for inviting me Ashley!!
Our awesome view...
I had so much fun with you girls! You ROCK!!
We did this every day for several hours. Great workout and was so fun...
It got crazy at times. Too bad there were no pictures of Elizabeth taking out this poor guy over and over again! haha
The view from our balcony
Getting ready to go out for a night on the town
Hard Rock Cafe!
Totally wanted a normal picture of Superman for Zane. Instead I got raped...
and turned very red...
Game Time!!Doesn't get much better than this...
My head was getting sunburned. My stinkin thin hair really makes things difficult. Must remember a hat next time.
Dinner at Mextreme
We got to go up and do some "choreography" a few times...we had no idea what this number was all about though...
CRAZY SATURDAY
While Ashley and Elizabeth went to a wedding, Lisa Carrie and I went on an excursion to an island (forgot name of it). The boat ride was longer than what they made it seem and it poured down on us. Good thing it only lasted about 10 minutes but we got so sick that snorkling was just not real fun. Poor Carrie ralphed in the ocean a few times. Then we had to ride the boat to the island to eat lunch. I could not walk. I dry heeved and thought I was going to die. Could not eat a thing. We then had to get back onto the boat and ride it to the other side of the island for shopping...laying on the boat helped us a tad with the motion sickness...but just a tad...
This was my I'm going to barf but I must try my hardest to take a cute picture first look...
I was finally able to feel a little better after shopping some but then had to get back on the boat to come home...Oh how glorious it was to be back in our room... and enjoy the best BLT EVER!
Last night :(
Which is the perfect night to be retarded...

and continue being retarded...
Never thought I'd ever do this again...

After that nonsense, we went to buy some last minute gifts for our kids from this little cutie. I figured Avery would like to see where her purse came from. Very sweet girl but very sad she was not in bed at this hour...
We both got our lips sunburned and they hurt really bad and puffed up. I think Carrie won the puffiest lip contest though...
So sad it's over but glad to see my precious ones! Too bad they just wanted the presents I brought them and didn't care much at all to see me! haha
Must. Do. Again.

Swim Lessons. So far, I'm impressed!

I have been wanting to make the kids hooded towels for over a year now- I just never did it. With swim lessons starting, I finally decided on a whim to just make the dern things and be done with it. Being 9pm the night before the lessons, there was no time to make them special...so here are the "very unspecial super easy if you can sew quilt pieces together, you can make this" hooded towels... This backyard was amazing. I was worried about having so many kids and how they would do but it was PERFECT.
Zane loved it!
and I CANNOT believe he did this....
on the first day!! Last year we went to Pelican Bay and BOTH kids were like "I don't want to." "I can't" "I only do it in the bathtub" and the instructor would just say ok, you can watch! Ha. After last year BOTH kids were recommended to be in the same level 2 class again which was right above the diapered kids class! Well Miss R. would say yes you can! Try it. Come on. You can do it....and they would!!
Avery loved it too!

She blew under water up to 5 seconds! This cracks me up...
Maybe my kids will actually learn to swim before they are 10! I really had no faith after last year...
