Girls Night Out...with Zane!!!

It started at my parents house at my old highschool bball game! I was able to get a quick picture of them in between their nonstop jumping that occurred the rest of the evening. It wore me out watching them....yes Avery put on blue eyeshadow before going! And we left at half time!PaPa is so fun!!The next morning we went to my aunts house and went shopping in Joplin! Then we came back for our girls night!! Avery had a playmate! Our yummy cake! My mom and two aunts all had bdays within a month from each other!
And here are the sisters...how old do you think they are!? Ha!
Now time for pampering! Hand massages, feet massages, back massages with hot stones...it was nice. I realized I need this daily.
This head massager is awesome! It gives you goosebumps the first time but really relaxing.
Mother/daughter/future baby boy!!
Mr. Zane was just entertaining himself!
Can't wait until the next one!
The clan. My grandma at top. Sherry, Sheila, Shelly (the daughters). Mandy, Jennifer, Kayla, Blair, Brittany, and Peyton (the granddaughters). Jasmine, Avery (the great granddaughters) and Zane...OUR FIRST BOY!...until Blairs little boy!

Oh Dear...

So Avery had some friends over today and were playing house. Avery proclaimed she is the mom and her friend was the daughter. The friend then stated..."well i'm a teenage daughter because I have a baby too" Uh oh...I hope Avery was too busy doing dishes to hear her!!! I can't deal with this yet!

On the other hand...Zane likes asking "Can I squeeze my 'body'?" often and takes his clothes off everytime I blink.

To end on a good note. Wes should be coming home early next week! His hand has finally gone down and is currently having physical therapy everyday. Because it was immobile for about two weeks, his hand has become stiff and unable to move. I didn't know it could do that so quickly. Anyway, his blood counts are going up and up which is a sign leukemia is gone! Either way...he should be able to come home again and hopefully for good this time!

Around the house...

Zane's favorite book right now is The Way I Feel. He can see the picture and say what they are feeling (jealous, happy, disappointed, etc) He decided he wanted me to take his picture making all of the faces. I picked a few to post...Here is his sad face!

Winter Park Playing

First off, I will start with saying visit this blog: http://lilmunchkindoodle.blogspot.com/ you can win free cute homemade kid essentials!!!! This will sure look cuter than our ziploc bag of crayons!!
Well today was a pretty nice day and so I decided to let the kids burn all their energy at the park today! Nice booty shots I know. I didn't feel like being a photographer! Nor did I feel like doing anything, other than sitting down for a while...

Zane wanted me to put up the video we recorded of him telling a knock knock joke. After waiting for 30 minutes and it still wasn't uploaded, I decided to forget it. He lost interest after the first few minutes of waiting anyway and now he is asking to watch The Grinch!

Being silly walking back home

Gina came and visited again and stayed with Wes while we played!

Yay Science Museum!!

So today I went to the Science Museum for the first time ever (my kids have gone before) and became a member. I loved it! I want this tree house in my backyard...not sure it will fit though!
This is Annabeth who has been my little AMAZING nanny since Wes has been in the hospital. I would be going crazy without her!
Winking is still cool folks! So lady-like...
puppet show!
Face painting on the tongue! I was busy figuring out the impossible brain teaser games they had and was not watching the kids and here comes Zane saying take my picture...
Yay Cartwheel time! Lovely I know.

At first Zane said, "Nooooo Gymnastics only for girls!" But then he realized he can have fun too!
He wanted me to take a picture of him looking at Nemo. Can't really see Nemo though!Ring a round the rosie with himself! Fun times.
Gina, your boys would love this! So next time you are up here we'll make a date! I can't believe it took five years to find this place! Thank you to everyone who NEVER TALKED ABOUT IT!

Once Upon A Time...

I had kids who thought I was the best thing in the world and wanted to hold and kiss me all day long. Now I have a child that has ultra sensitive ears and tells me how I hurt his feelings almost daily and another who thinks she owns the world...

Zane: "Mommy be sweet to me okay"
Me: "I am sweet to you, aren't I"
Zane: "No, you just yelled at me"
Me: "I didn't yell? What did I say?"
Zane: "You say ZANE DON'T TEAR THAT(in a loud scary voice). You yelled like that."
Me: Even though I totally didn't say it the way he reinacted it, he actually looked hurt...

They then wanted to go outside...and this is what I heard...

Me: Putting a hat on Avery
Avery: "No I don't even like this one." While taking it off
Me: Putting it back on her. "it's the only one I can find right now."
Avery: "I'm already wearing one. I don't need two."
Me: "You can take the hood off but you have to leave this one on."
Avery: "Well I'm just going to take it off right when I get outside"
Me: "Then you'll come right back inside!"
Avery: "Uh...All i'm saying is you are rude"
Me: "Avery I am not. You have to have your ears covered."

And all of that for 1.2 minutes of playing outside....

I decided going for a drive out in this weather sounded better than ever! I am finally with Wes who actually appreciates my company!! I haven't seen him for three days since I got the pukes. I'm all good now and glad to see him! He is doing okay. His throat hurts and he has gotten sores in his mouth (a common side effect from no white blood cells) but they are talking about him coming home tomorrow! So we'll see!!! Hopefully no one else in my family gets sick so we can have a clean house for him!
