Spring Soccer 2011

We really enjoy watching the kids play sports, but its also nice when its over! I love having my Saturdays free again.
I'm so glad these kids have an awesome coach!
Zane improved so much this season. He got in the middle of the action more and had a lot more contact with the ball!

Go Wolves!

Soccer party at CiCi's!!
I tried to resist the gooey cinnamon buttery balls...but the gooey cinnamon won...3 times.
So proud of you buddy!!!

Is April Over?

It appears so...here's what we did...

Avery and Zane had a Fun Fair at their school. Zane was pretty amazed at their face painting skills...The sharks mouth was painted around his mouth. Impressive.
He requested the same thing at the OC egg hunt but it didn't quite end the same!!Who needs an Easter bunny when you can have cows?!
They made out well!
We also had a picnic with friend's
I'm the controlling wife that made Wes quit after one quick game! He was on his stronger chemo medicine and it seems every time he's on it, he wears himself out sick!! I'm looking forward to playing more once he's done (only one month left!!)
Avery's school had a field day at the Science Museum and it happened to be brain week. He's touching a real human brain! Wes and I went and were babysitting two kiddos that morning as well.
When I went to take Zane to the bathroom, Wes lost track of the 2 year old! When I came back he said "I can't handle this. There are too many people...it's exhausting..."

Avery stayed with her school and we didn't see her much but she preferred that!
My little sister graduated!!! Yes. It appears I'm a little tired. I almost fell asleep. But was excited for her none the less!
Even more excited were my parents who are done paying tuition!!!
My nephew had his 9th birthday party!
Neither Zane nor Austen knew they'd be seeing each other there. It was a surprise and boy were they excited...
The cousins!!!
This school year went by so fast! I can't believe it is almost SUMMER!!!!

The Egg Hunt

First we'll start with the goods that were quickly picked up from Walgreens! That store never fails me...or the Easter Bunny...
The fashion designer notebook is actually pretty neat. It comes with several papers with outlines of girls and then has several stencils of different clothing that you can draw and color onto the girl. When you are desperate and just have to grab things, you never know what you are really getting! Ha. But I'd say it was a success!!
This bubble fan was a hit too! Thank goodness!!
The clan after church...
First up is the little kid's hunt
They each got 15 little eggs and 1 big one full of candy and little toys
The big kid's turn. On your mark. Get set...
Go!!!
There are A LOT of hiding places in this back yard...
After my dad gave us a couple of hints on where the $10 egg was hidden
My cousin and her hubby found both the special eggs
We each got 20 little eggs and 1 big one
Ours had $1 coins inside and other random goodies!!
I love Easter...we always make enough to pay for the gas of driving up there!!!

Twas the evening before Easter...

I know. I'm a tad behind...

I'm pretty sure we've never taken our kids bowling before and I was ready to wow them with my amazing bowling skills... I love that Brittany has such small feet (size 5) that her shoes only came in velcro!!
Easter is a big deal people.

I loved this picture, I just had to post. It might be my parents best pic ever.
They still aren't as cute as us though...
Best form of the night
Oh yes. Great Grandmas bowl too
The scores... Wes, Avers, Zane, Me, Tim, Ethan, and Blair. At least I beat my grandma...barely. I forg0t to take a picture of their score board but I promise she only scored in the upper 40's!!
My mom decided her name was Venus, Kevin, Britt, and Brant
So much for showing off my amazing skills...
Time to decorate eggs!!!!
The kids were very bummed to find out we accidentally left them out all night and thus were unable to eat them Sunday afternoon!! Had fun decorating none the less...
My dad making the famous $5 and $10 eggs...The girlies
The studs
The big Easter egg hunt coming soon
