Road trip to Montgomery and Gulf Shores
5 kids, 3 adults, 1 car, 16 hours. The end!!
Its been a while since we've been on a family vacation, so this was much needed. We took a few extras but it was a great time!!
I love getting all the cousins together and was glad they got to meet the newest girl cousin, Miss Juliet!!
We went to the Montgomery Zoo...
fed birds...
ate a yummy dinner at a dinner theater...
watched uncle Jason perform...
in the Three Musketeers...
enjoyed an amazing magic show...
and tried (237 times) to get an adorable beach picture of the cousins!! We didn't get a million dollar photo, but we sure made some fun memories.
We didn't get a real good family picture either...darn that wind!!
We had a lot of fun at The Hangout where we ate...
played in bubbles...
did flips on a bungee trampoline...
won a big limbo competition...
and just hung out!!
We then went to my grandpa's house a few miles from Gulf Shores and stayed there a couple of days. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of them...but I did get a picture of their pool!
The kids liked swimming in the pool more than the ocean, which was good since our last day it ended up being double red flag day. Wes took the older kids shopping while Amy and I watched these rug-rats throw sand at each other while yelling at them to get out of the water!!
I'm already looking forward to going back. I sure wouldn't mind retiring in Gulf Shores one day.
